During Open Compute Summit, MegaRAC Composer Pod Management Software from AMI will be featured as part of a of a multi-vendor interoperability demonstration staged and hosted by Intel® Corporation - a Platinum Sponsor of this year’s OCP - using AMI Rack Scale Design technologies for pooled NVMe and NIC management.
Attendees will experience how MegaRAC Composer can browse physical resources at the rack, chassis and system level, all through an intuitive web-based user interface. As part of the demonstration, MegaRAC Composer will be used to compose and assign the available Inspur physical resources to create, deploy and manage a logical node.
MegaRAC Composer Pod Management Software is fully compliant with the Intel® Rack Scale Design and DMTF Redfish™ standards, to offer the advantage of demand-driven dynamic scaling to optimize datacenter resource utilization. It also allows for the composition of physical resources based on templates, which can then be stored in the software and reused as a time-saving feature. In addition, MegaRAC Composer gives users the ability to power on, force off, and gracefully shutdown composed nodes.
