Over the span of a year, AMI worked alongside Diablo Technologies to integrate AMI's flagship Aptio® V UEFI firmware features with Diablo's Memory1 system memory module. With AMI's support for Diablo's Memory1 technology, OEMs in the server industry can expect higher capacities and greater performance when creating their system solutions. Together, Aptio V and Memory1 not only add memory capacity and economic value to OEMs, but also provide the tools to create high quality hardware solutions for their end users. The first shipment of server systems with this support is now publicly available and Aptio V is updated for Memory1 to support 3rd and 4th generation Intel® Xeon® (D- and E-series) server processors.

Aptio® V from American Megatrends represents the "next generation" of UEFI BIOS firmware and comes fully equipped with support for the latest UEFI specifications. Diablo Technologies' flagship Memory1 is a system memory solution that efficiently optimizes big data applications by providing up to 2TB of application memory in a single, dual-socket server. Ltd., has been selected as one of the Top 5 Finalists in the prestigious $10M Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE competition.

A three-and-a-half year global contest sponsored by the Qualcomm Foundation, the Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE challenges teams to develop a consumer-focused, mobile device capable of diagnosing and interpreting a set of roughly fifteen medical conditions and capturing a broad set of vital health metrics. Notably, Team Davantri is the only Indian team to be selected as a finalist for this competition, measuring itself against entries from U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.

AMI VitalsFit, the entry from Team Davantri, is a smart and stylish wireless handheld health monitor that can be used in the comfort of one's home, or on-the-go in nearly any location. It features a number of probes and sensors that enable the user to diagnose fifteen distinct diseases, including anemia, diabetes, tuberculosis, Hepatitis A, and more. The event will take place from August 16 - 18, 2016, with AMI located at Booth #321 of the Moscone Center West.

MegaRAC Composer from American Megatrends is a Pod Management software solution developed to be fully compliant with the Intel® Rack Scale Design and DMTF Redfish™ specifications. It allows users to browse physical resources at the rack, chassis and system level through an intuitive web-based user interface. Administrators can then compose and assign those physical resources to create a logical node, which provides the advantage of demand-driven dynamic scaling to optimize datacenter resource utilization. MegaRAC Composer also allows for the composition of physical resources based on templates, which can then be stored in the software and reused as a time-saving feature. In addition, MegaRAC Composer gives users the ability to power on, force off, and gracefully shutdown composed nodes.

The MegaRAC Composer demo planned for IDF will showcase the software's unique capability to compose nodes and manage those components and their utilization, all from a remote location. Rack hardware from several leading manufacturers will be remotely managed by MegaRAC Composer from a central location in the Intel booth, where attendees can view the software's management interface and features. The AMI booth will contain additional information on how the demo was assembled and deployed.

Notably, AMI is first to market with these solutions, all of which are tightly integrated within the MegaRAC® Manageability Framework - the most widely used solution in the market today.

Products from AMI featuring support for Intel Rack Scale Design and Redfish include the fully-integrated Pooled System Management Engine (PSME) firmware solutions, which enable efficient resource management for Network, Storage and Compute hardware throughout the data center. Also featured is the recently introduced MegaRAC Composer™ Pod Management Software - which debuted at the OpenStack Summit in April and will be highlighted in a multi-vendor interoperability demo at the upcoming Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco on August 16th through 18th.

The new MegaRAC PSME firmware solutions are hardened, production worthy and tightly integrated to function with the MegaRAC Manageability firmware stack used by nearly every ODM and within most hyper-scale data centers. These solutions can be deployed in a single image to the popular service processors (BMCs) from Aspeed, Emulex, Nuvoton and others, but are also configurable to run stand-alone on x86 or other architectures - and with custom OEM manageability firmware stacks.

MegaRAC PSME solutions can not only run on compute nodes integrated with the server BMC, but also on Chassis or Rack Management Modules or as a Container under the Pod Manager. These solutions all work under a Redfish Framework, making it easy to add extensions such as Fabric Management. The MegaRAC Fabric PSME firmware allows for discovery of PCI switches, devices and functions and can then assign those devices and functions to hosts or PCI zones. This enables complete manageability, including the composition and decomposition of pooled PCIe devices based on workload demand through a pooled resource controller such as Network, NVMe drives, FPGA, GPGPUs and more.

Ltd., to conduct clinical trials of the AMI VitalsFit™ portable healthcare monitor, currently competing in the Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE® competition.

The Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE is a global competition sponsored by the Qualcomm Foundation that will award $10 million to teams that develop a consumer-friendly, mobile device capable of diagnosing and interpreting a set of thirteen conditions and capturing vital health metrics. As part of the same agreement, the Sundaram Medical Foundation has also indicated its intent to act as a "knowledge partner" to support American Megatrends as it moves into the final stages of the Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE competition.

AMI VitalsFit is a stylish, accurate, portable and easy-to-use health-monitoring device that patients can use in the comfort of their own homes for real-time insight into a wide variety of vital health statistics. This groundbreaking device can be used to diagnose a set of fifteen different diseases, including Anemia, Diabetes, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis A, Atrial Fibrillation, Sleep Apnea, Pneumonia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Ear Infection and Leukocytosis.
